Hotel developer, Dominvs Group, is planning a new 150-bedroom in central Oxford along with a  microbrewery, restaurant and deli. A new Hotel Indigo is thought to be the branding although this is still to be confirmed.

The site, on the corner of Paradise Street and St Thomas' Street, is the former Cooper Callas building, which has been unused for several years. This would be demolished with the hotel taking its place. Part of the site was formerly the Brewery Gatepub associated with the old Morrell's Brewery.

A planning application is expected in either September or October 2015.

Whilst Hotel Indigo is a brand from the IHG group, each Indigo Hotel has an individual character reflecting its location and local associations. This is reflected in the menus as well as artwork and photographs displayed on the walls.

Cheshire East Council has approved plans to convert the historic Doddington Hall near Nantwich in Cheshire into a 120-bedroom country house hotel.

Doddington Hall and its Grade II-listed stables will include hotel bedrooms, a restaurant and bar as well as event space. A new-build extension will house additional bedrooms and a spa facility.

Doddington Hall sits within 800-acres of parkland. It was designed by Samuel Wyatt and built in 1780. The mansion is privately owned and was used as a ladies college until 1985.

The planning approval also included the refurbishment and conversion of the 13th-century Delves Castle and the Grade II-listed Star Barn near to the Hall, with the use of the buildings to be defined at a later date.

Doddington Hall is located off the A51 between Nantwich and Woore.
