Clevedon Hall, an historic mansion in North Somerset will reopen as a luxury event venue next month. This follows a three year refurbishment and restoration programme which has included the addition of 24 new bedrooms.

Clevedon Hall is a 150 year old Victorian mansion set in its grounds which includes a lake. Primarily a wedding venue in the past, the new look Clevedon Hall will now have five ground floor meeting rooms fully equipped with modern AV requirements and with high-speed broadband throughout. The library will be the largest room seating up to 140 delegates for a theatre style meeting. The grounds are available for a range of outdoor activities and team building events.

The bedrooms at Clevedon Hall are individually styled and equipped with the latest in-room technology. There is no dinner restaurant at Clevedon Hall although breakfast will be available for guests.

Clevedon Hall is ideally located within easy reach of Bristol. It is five minutes from the M5 motorway at junction 20.

The Hill of Tarvit Mansion in Fife, Scotland has recently re-launched with a renewed focus on corporate events. One of Scotland’s finest Edwardian houses, it is situated just ten miles from St Andrews.

The Hill of Tarvit Mansion can host a range of events from dinners and champagne receptions in the Great Hall to cooking demonstrations and wine tastings in the Victorian kitchen. Corporate barbecues and family fun days can be arranged on the mansion lawns. The Great Hall will seat 60 guests for a dinner or 100 guests for a drinks reception. A marquee event can accommodate up to 300 people.

Ramside Hall Hotel and Golf Club in Durham is opening its new luxury spa and leisure facility in May 2015.The 32,000 sq-ft facility will include a 24m indoor pool, a 9m vitality pool, an outdoor balcony infinity pool and an outdoor spa garden with a bubble pool. The Corran Resort and Spa in Laugharne, Carmarthenshire has unveiled further refurbishment plans following its recent renovation.

A new, permanent events pavilion is planned within the hotel’s walled garden, which is expected to be completed next spring. This will be followed by 28 new luxury suites in the East House and a new equine facility. Future plans also envisage a residential recording studio, broadcasting facility and media centre.

The Corran Resort and Spa is based around an original 16th century house. It currently has 21 contemporary styled bedrooms each equipped with the latest entertainment technology. The hotel is located in the marshlands of the River Towy estuary in south west Wales.

A £7.1million refurbishment of the Royal Northern College of Music’s auditorium in Manchester is approaching completion. An official reopening is scheduled for November 2014.

Developments at the Royal Northern College of Music have resulted in a refurbished and extended hall, adding a cantilevered balcony to increase capacity to 750 people; alongside new dressing rooms, showers, formal learning spaces and backstage facilities. The refurbishment has also seen the installation of advanced technical facilities and a new air-conditioning and heating system.

The finishing touches to the auditorium, including seating and lighting, will be fitted over the next two weeks.

The Royal College of Music is located in Oxford Road one mile south of Manchester city centre, in the heart of the city’s Education Quarter.
