Refurbishment of the two private dining rooms located on level 38 of the Gherkin building in central London has now been completed.
The art-nouveau styled Perrier-Jouët room has also been extended and can seat up to 30 people for fine dining or 35 guests for a standing reception.

In contrast, and decorated in royal and navy blue, the Chivas room has a ‘masculine air’ with bottles of Chivas on display throughout the room.

The Gherkin is situated in the heart of The City of London. The top two floors can be hired exclusively for breakfast meetings for up to 100 delegates theatre style, for evening receptions for 260 guests or seated dinners for up to 140 guests. Searcy's are the caterers.

Kings Head Hotel in Cirencester re-opens September 2014 with 45 bedrooms following an extensive restoration programme. There will be five bedroom categories from classic king doubles to suites. Each is individually styled and equipped with a separate bath and walk-in shower, Nespresso coffee machine, a Mac Mini computer system and a personal mini fridge.

Kings Head Hotel features a range of large and small event spaces all with natural daylight and the latest audio-visual equipment plus complimentary wi-fi. The largest event space is the Grade II-listed Corn Hall Room accommodating up to 550 delegates for a theatre style meeting. Built in 1862 the Corn Hall features a high ceiling, air conditioning, adjustable lighting and sound system - with its own bar and artist changing rooms. Manchester Meeting Place is the new name for The University of Manchester's Staff House Conference Centre. The venue has just completed the final phase of its refurbishment with new furnishings, decoration and upgraded a-v equipment in all the meeting rooms. 'The Hub' is the refreshment lounge and there is also a 100-seater restaurant.

Manchester Meeting Place is located just 250 metres from Manchester Piccadilly station.

Hopwood Hall in Middleton, Manchester could be transformed into a 22-bedroom conference centre if a £13million plan submitted by Hopwood Hall College goes ahead. Hopwood Hall College, its campus occupies former land by the site, is proposing to redevelop the house and chapel and is submitting a bid for Heritage Lottery funding next month. Hopwood Hall is a Grade II-listed property but it is currently derelict.

Although very dilapidated Hopwood Hall still retains its medieval features and Jacobean panelling plus a bedroom in which Lord Byron slept. They rub shoulders with graffiti from the 1970s and 1980s, when part of the hall was used as a disco.


Mercure Box Hill Burford Bridge Hotel at Box Hill in Surrey is to re-open Monday 1st September 2014 following an extensive nine-month restoration.
