Dorney Court, the Grade I-listed Tudor Manor House in Buckinghamshire has re-launched its Coach House Barn following a major renovation. The Coach House Barn now has a contemporary styling whilst retaining its historic features including the exposed oak beams and its old brick furnace, a reminder that the building was once a brewing hall.
Four double doors run the length of the barn and lead out on to a Yorkstone terrace for al fresco entertainment. The Coach House Barn will seat up to 160 guests for a dinner.
The extensive grounds at Dorney Court can be used for country pursuits and team building activities, from clay pigeon shooting and archery to orienteering, 4WD, treasure hunts and mini-hovercraft racing. The Great Hall in the main house is available for smaller meetings of up to 50 delegates.
Dorney Court is located close to Maidenhead, Windsor and Eton. It is 30 minutes from London and 20 minutes from Heathrow Airport.

Further renovations are underway at Stanbrook Abbey the former monastery which nestles in 21 acres of Worcestershire countryside. Stanbrook Abbey part of the Amazing Venues portfolio underwent an extensive refurbishment prior to reopening September 2012.

The installation of a garden pavilion to accommodate up to 200 guests for banquet.
Renovation of 49 luxury bedroom suites which were formally ‘nuns’ cells’.
Extension of the Thompson Dining Hall to increase capacity from 100 to 180 guests.
Renovation of three further function spaces: the Calefactory, the Pugin Suite and the Cellars.
A new driveway and reception area plus a new bar area.
Work is due for completion in autumn 2014 and Stanbrook Abbey will be open for business throughout this period.

Newcastle-based leisure company, the Malhotra Group, is investing £3million refurbishing its two Newcastle-on-Tyne hotels in a bid to enhance their appeal to business customers.
The New Northumbria Hotel (pictured left) located in the centre of Jesmond has refurbished and re-equipped its 50 delegate capacity meeting room.
The city-centre located Grey Street Hotel, which the group rescued from administration last summer, has four refurbished meeting rooms. Situated under the main hotel building, they are fully-fitted with plasma screens, wi-fi, air-conditioning, lighting and sound. The restaurants in both hotels have been refurbished - the Living Room at the Grey Street Hotel and the recently re-launched Scalini’s Italian restaurant at The New Northumbria Hotel.
A remodelling of the bedrooms at both hotels is continuing with additional bedrooms planned at the New Northumbria Hotel.

Hilton Cardiff has just completed a £2million refurbishment of its 197 guest rooms, after four months of extensive renovation works. The room refurbishment is part of a wider improvements project which coincides with the 15th anniversary of Hilton Cardiff. The hotel first opened its doors on August 1st 1999. It is located on the site of a former Franciscan friary overlooking Cardiff Castle in the heart of the city.
The refurbishment sees the hotel's bedrooms redecorated and furnished in a muted palette of whites and creams with bright cobalt feature elements and metallic fittings.
Hilton Cardiff features Metropole Lounge, Razzi Restaurant and a Costa Coffee plus a LivingWell Health Club and Escape Spa. Hilton Cardiff has a dedicated meetings floor with four purpose-built rooms and a main ballroom situated on the ground floor.

Imperial War Museum in London (IWM London) reopens on Saturday 19 July with the launch of their new atrium and their First World War Galleries. The new atrium features objects including a Harrier jet, Spitfire plane and V2 rocket and reveals how people’s lives have been affected by war and conflict from the Second World War to the present day. The atrium will be available for seated dinners and receptions. A new suspended gallery in the rooftop offers an unusual space for a variety of events including breakfasts, receptions, presentations and dinners.
The IWM London’s Georgian boardrooms and conference rooms have been available throughout the building's redevelopment. The boardrooms will accommodate up to 24 delegates for a boardroom meeting or a seated lunch for up to 50 guests. The Conference Room will accommodate up to 100 delegates.
IWM London is a Grade II-listed building within walking distance of London’s South Bank, as well as being close to both Westminster and the City.
