Jury Inn Inverness (below) is one of eight new additions either already acquired or set to become part of the group this month. These also include:

Jurys Inn Cardiff formerly the Parc Hotel.
Jurys Inn East Midlands Airport formerly East Midlands Skyway Hotel.
Jurys Inn Cheltenham formerly the Golden Valley Hotel.
Hinckley Island Hotel will be rebranded as Jurys Inn Hinckley Island from 25 November. Jurys Inn Oxford will also be opening on the same date.
Jurys Inn Aberdeen and Jurys Inn Middlesbrough are both now open.

Collectively the new hotels will undergo a £36million refurbishment programme that will include the transformation of the bedrooms, lobby, bar and restaurant areas.

Jurys Inn Inverness opened 18th November 2015 and is located just outside Inverness city centre on Millburn Road.

Jurys Inn Inverness has 118 bedrooms each furnished with a large bed, work desk, free wi-fi internet access, en-suite bathrooms with complimentary toiletries and a flat screen television with Freeview.

Hotel Indigo London – Aldgate is a new 207 bedroom hotel opening in 2017 in Aldgate Place in the City of London.

Hotel Indigo London – Aldgate will be a new-build and will be located in the heart of a major residential and commercial development taking shape along Leman Street and Aldgate East. The hotel will be close to key business districts including Canary Wharf, the City of London and Liverpool Street.

Hotel Indigo London – Aldgate will be near several tube stations including Aldgate East, Aldgate and Tower Hill. It will also have good access to London City Airport.

Plans have been approved for a new 206 bedroom hotel on the site of the former Belfast Metropolitan College Campus in the centre of Belfast.

The site will be redeveloped into a 14-storey, 206 bedroom hotel with restaurants, bars, conference and leisure facilities.

Demolition work on the previous building was carried out over the summer. Construction work is expected to start in early 2016.

The new hotel is located just off Brunswick Street in Belfast's Linen Quarter.

Marriott International and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide have agreed to merge in a move that will create the world's largest hotel group.

The combined company will operate or franchise more than 5,500 hotels with 1.1 million rooms across the world.

This promotes the group to the top of the premier league ahead of competitors, Hilton Worldwide with 4,500 hotels and 745,000 rooms and IHG InterContinental Hotels Group with 4,750 hotels and 674,000 rooms.

The new Marriott-Starwood Group now controls thirty major hotel brands worldwide including:
