A facelift to the tune of around £100million is planned for Salterns Marina in Poole, Dorset.

It will include a new luxury hotel and spa on the site of the existing Salterns Harbourside Hotel, as well as new apartments and an exclusive rooftop restaurant.
The berthing and marina facilities will also be reconfigured with the aim of giving Poole a "world-class" marina.

Whilst Poole Marina has a Rick Stein restaurant coming to Sandbanks in the near future which will give a boost to the area, when the marina operators look just down the road they see Bournemouth ‘flexing its hospitality muscles’ with a new Hilton hotel opening in December joining  the new Hampton by Hilton which opened recently in the town.
