DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Woking has opened with 170 bedrooms in the centre of the town. The hotel, formerly the Holiday Inn Woking, has just emerged from a multi-million pound renovation.

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Woking features well equipped and stylishly furnished bedrooms plus Wocca Grill and Bar 92. The conference centre includes the main Woking Suite which will accommodate up to 230 delegates for a theatre style meeting with an additional five smaller meeting rooms.

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Woking is a five minute walk from Woking station and less than 30 minutes from central London by train.

Tune Hotel Group has opened its first hotel in Liverpool. The historic Grade II-listed Queen Building in Castle Street has been converted into the 100-bedroom Tune Hotel Liverpool, City Centre.

Tune Hotels are a budget hotel group offering space efficient, streamlined rooms focusing on high quality basics including good beds, powerful showers, a central location, a clean environment and 24-hour security. Extras such as towels, televisions and wi-fi access in the room are charged as extras.  

Tune Hotel Liverpool, City Centre will be operating a demand-based pricing system with rates from £25 a night for a double or twin room.

Tune Hotel Liverpool, City Centre is a short walk from Liverpool Lime Street Station as well as the attractions of central Liverpool.

Currently there are five Tune Hotels in London plus one in both Edinburgh and Newcastle.

etc.venues will be opening their latest London venue this autumn at Fenchurch Street Station, minutes from Tower Hill, Bank, Monument and Aldgate stations as well as Tower Gateway for the DLR.

etc.venues Fenchurch Street is located at 8 Fenchurch Place and will include 17 flexible rooms designed for meetings, conferences, exhibitions and events, all on one floor and with access to the onsite restaurant and lounge.

Super-fast free wi-fi will operate throughout the venue and all rooms will be fitted with high spec projectors and screens. The largest meeting space will accommodate up to 250 delegates for a theatre style meeting with exhibition space.

The Great Northern Hotel located opposite the Eurostar terminal at King's Cross St Pancras Station in London has joined Starwood Hotels & Resorts' Tribute Portfolio. The 91-bedroom hotel has been relaunched as the Great Northern Hotel, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel.

The Great Northern Hotel first opened in 1854 and reopened in 2013 following a £40 million redesign and renovation. The Tribute Portfolio was launched in April 2015 as Starwood's tenth brand and comprises independent four-star and luxury hotels from around the world.

All 91 bedrooms at the Great Northern Hotel, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel overlook King’s Cross and St Pancras stations and feature tall sash windows, bespoke furniture and state-of-the-art technology including extensive soundproofing, high-speed wireless internet access and an entertainment package comprising 96 television channels. Plum + Spilt Milk is the hotel’s restaurant whose name originates from the colours of the dining cars pulled by the Flying Scotsman train back in the days of steam.

Great Northern Hotel, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel is the first 'Tribute' branded hotel in Europe. Starwood aims to grow the brand to 100 hotels by 2020.

Lysaght Institute is a new venue option in Newport, South Wales.  It was built by the firm of John Lysaght Ltd in 1928, as a venue for the Orb Steelworkers and their families to meet and socialise.

It reopened in 2012 following a £3million refurbishment as a meeting, conference and events venue. The building has retained its character with many of its original features intact including large balcony areas and landscaped gardens.

Lysaght Institute has a range of flexible, fully equipped meeting rooms to suit 1-to-1 interviews, meetings for up to ten delegates to conferences for 180 delegates. There is also an IT training suite with six computer stations.

All rooms are air-conditioned and wi-fi is free throughout. There is a reception area, plenty of breakout space, in-house catering and plentiful parking.

Lysaght Institute is located within a five minute drive of both the M4 at junction 24 and the centre of Newport.
