Strand Palace Hotel in central London has just opened its first set of new-look bedrooms.

The hotel has reintroduced the art-deco styling for which the Strand Palace was most renowned.

The new Deluxe bedrooms at Strand Palace Hotel are air conditioned and feature a complimentary minibar and dry bar, plus White Company toiletries.

In-room entertainment includes a 46-inch HD television and Bose SoundTouch 20 wireless speaker system.

Superior bedrooms feature all the modern-day essentials, including an HD television, complimentary in-room wi-fi, laptop safe, and White Company toiletries in the en-suite shower room.

There is a selection of superior rooms, ranging from Superior Cosy singles through to Superior King-sized rooms.

Strand Palace Hotel is located on The Strand in London, a five-minute walk from Charing Cross rail and tube station.

A second Swingers crazy golf site has opened in central London.

Swingers West End is located in the 20,000 sq-ft site of the former BHS flagship store near Oxford Circus.

Swingers West End takescrazy golf back to its seaside roots in a venuethat recreates theglamour of the 1920’s English Riviera.

Swingers West End contains two nine-hole golf courses, two bars, an array of street food and a range of private hire space which can accommodate groups of up to 300 people.

The Swingersconcept in the brainchild of the Institute of Competitive Socialising - a group of likeminded individuals who believe that ‘life is better when it includes an element of competition’.

Travelodge with 100 bedrooms has just opened at Liverpool John Lennon Airport.

The hotel was formerly the Holiday Inn Express before undergoing a six month long, £2million refurbishment. It now becomes the fourteenth Travelodge on Merseyside.

Travelodge Liverpool John Lennon Airport includes a Bar Café plus three meeting rooms with a fully inclusive meetings package. The largest room will seat up to 25 delegates. The hotel has on-site car-parking.

Travelodge Liverpool John Lennon Airport is located in Speke Hall Avenue, minutes away from the airport terminal. It is seven miles from the centre of Liverpool.

The German based Ruby Hotels Group has unveiled plans to open in London.

The hotel – Ruby Lucy – will be located on London’s Southbank close to Waterloo station. It is scheduled to open with 76 bedrooms by the end of 2019.

Ruby Lucy will be housed in a new-build property on Lower Marsh.

Ruby Hotels describe themselves as a ‘lean luxury’ brand so guests should probably expect trendy and stylish rather than over-sized bedrooms, in-house restaurants or room service.

Ruby Lucy is expected to share the building with stand-alone shops and restaurants.

Liverpool-based hotel operator, Signature Living, has outlined plans to launch a new hotel in Belfast.

The new hotel will be ‘The Waring’. It will be located in the former War Memorial Building in Belfast's Cathedral Quarter.

The Waring will be a contemporary boutique hotel. It will include 63 bedrooms across four floors, together with a ground floor bar/restaurant and a rooftop bar.

Following the pattern set by Signature Living Hotel in Liverpool, The Waring will feature a range of themed rooms and group suites, accommodating from two up to 16 people –providing a new accommodation concept for groups in Belfast.

Signature Living Group is also planning development of the George Best Hotel in the former Scottish Mutual Building in Donegall Square South in Belfast city centre plus the Lanyon Hotel in the former Crumlin Road Courthouse in Belfast.
