Roomzzz Aparthotels has announced plans to open its first hotel in London at Stratford with 82 apartments. Building work is expected to start in early 2015 with an opening scheduled for later in the year.
Each apartment will includes a full kitchen, a work desk, a plasma television and free wi-fi plus room service and a “grab and go” breakfast service.

Roomzzz London Stratford will be located minutes from the Olympic Park site, close to Westfield Shopping Centre and Stratford tube station.

Best Western International has launched a boutique hotel concept called Vib (pronounced Vibe) in the USA as their answer to the increasing popularity of boutique and lifestyle hotels

The Vib guestroom is less than 19 sq-mt and with minimal but modern, functional furnishings. However they are equipped with the latest in communications and entertainment technology including ample USB and power ports for electronics, a media wall with custom content in the lobby, smart televisions in the rooms to stream on-demand content and LED mood lighting throughout the hotel.

Vib hotels will also feature grab-and-go food stations, gaming pods and fitness centres.

Work is expected to start in January 2015 on a new £14.2million, 190-bedroom Hampton by Hilton hotel in London’s Royal Albert Dock.
The hotel will be located between ExCel exhibition centre and London City Airport.

The new £250million Heart of Telford Southwater Convention Quarter is set to officially launch on 18th October 2014. Telford, one of the most ambitious towns in the UK, is seeking to demonstrate that it is one of the country’s top event destinations.

The centre of Telford has become a pedestrianized area linking business, leisure, cultural and events facilities into one compact area with The International Centre Telford at its heart. Facilities now include:

Tulse Hill Tavern in south London will become Tulse Hill Hotel in November 2014 following an extensive refurbishment. The 19th century public house will have nine new bedrooms from family sized doubles to singles - all with ensuite bathrooms, free wi-fi, iPod docking stations, Freeview television and tea and coffee making facilities.

Tulse Hill Hotel will also features an antique bar, a restaurant and a private dining room, a chef’s table for five plus a landscaped garden for al-fresco dining.

Tulse Hill station is the nearest overland train station to Tulse Hill Hotel - a three minute walk away with trains to Blackfriars, King Cross St Pancras and Clapham Junction. Tulse Hill Hotel will have an onsite car park exclusively for the use of guests staying overnight.
