Center Parcs has announced that work on the 75-bedroom hotel at its Woburn Forest site is now complete and a late spring 2014 opening is anticipated. The hotel features Austrian-inspired double or twin rooms overlooking a woodland landscape. The hotel is close to the resort’s Aqua Sana spa, gym, watersports lake, restaurants and shops. The hotel will supplement the 625 lodges at Woburn Forest, serving as a lodging alternative for smaller parties.
The new conference venue at Center Parcs Woburn Forest opens in October 2014. Facilities will include 'The Venue' a flexible arrangement of nine meeting rooms seating up to 800 delegates theatre style in total.
Woburn Forest is close to the M1. There will be a shuttle service available to and from Flitwick station which offers a 50 minute train journey to central London.

Hampton Manor in Solihull is a 19th century manor house hotel. It has recently opened new meetings and events space – Elizabeth Court. Elizabeth Court makes use of the hotel’s courtyard space, now covered by a glass atrium, and includes an adjacent coach house area for refreshments.
Hampton Manor has 15 individually designed rooms in the main house and three new bedrooms in The Butlers Lodge. Meeting facilities include a boardroom to seat up to 16 guests, a selection of private dining rooms, corporate entertaining for up to 115 guests plus 45 acres of grounds and mature woodland  for team-building, training days and product promotion. It is located just minutes from Birmingham International Airport, the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) as well as the M42, M6 and M40 motorways.

IHG has signed three more Holiday Inn Express hotels to the group. They include: Holiday Inn Express Grimsby; Holiday Inn Express Middlesbrough – Centre Square and Holiday Inn Express Dublin – City Centre.  
The Holiday Inn Express Grimsby will be the first to open. It will be a new-build hotel with 80 bedrooms and will be located near Grimsby station. It is expected to open towards the end of 2015.
Holiday Inn Express Dublin – City Centre is a 198-bedroom conversion property on O’Connell Street and this is expected to open spring 2016.
Holiday Inn Express Middlesbrough – Centre Square is also the conversion of a former office building and this too will be opening in 2016 with 138 bedrooms. It will be located on the main square in the heart of Middlesbrough close to the Town Hall and the Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art.
There are currently 219 Holiday Inn Express hotels in Europe and 38 in the pipeline.

The Forum Conference and Banqueting Suite is a new £2.5million venue which has just opened on the site of a former office block in the centre of Stevenage.
Facilities include four flexible meeting rooms with the largest room seating up to 625 delegates. The Forum is fully sound proofed and air conditioned with built-in LED lighting, plasma screens, a bar and reception area plus a portable dance floor. There is also a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering purposes.
The Forum is designed for conferences, corporate and charity events, exhibitions and product launches and private dinners. Ibis Stevenage Hotel is adjacent with 98 fully re-furbished bedrooms plus a bar and a restaurant.
The Forum Conference and Banqueting Suite is a three minute walk from Stevenage station and a  25 minute train journey from central London.

Haynes International Motor Museum in Somerset has officially relaunched following completion of it’s extensive £5 million renovation and refurbishment project. The museum, first established in a saw mill in Sparkford just outside Yeovil in 1985, is now home to more than 400 cars and motorcycles dating back to 1885.
Haynes International Motor Museum has conference, meeting and events facilities to accommodate up to 400 delegates with the latest AV technology, in-house catering plus 55 acres of outdoor event sites and show fields. Haynes International Motor Museum has seven meeting rooms split between two suites. Merlin Suite will seat up to 400 delegates theatre style. The ‘Art Deco’ inspired interior is equipped with the latest AV technology. Merlin 2 alongside, and with its own entrance, will seat up to 40 delegates. The Millennium Hall at the heart of the museum and adjacent to the Merlin Suite offers extra space for larger events. This area can be used as part of a conference, as exhibition space or as a separate catering area. It will seat up to 450 delegates theatre style.
Haynes International Motor Museum is located just off the A303 and is 30 minutes from junction 25 of the M5. The nearest main line station is five miles away at Castle Cary with a high-speed link between London Paddington and Penzance.
