Bristol Harbour Hotel & Spa is now open.
Harbour Hotels have taken the former headquarters of Lloyds Bank in Bristol as well as the adjacent former Midland Bank and created the new 42-bedroom Bristol Harbour Hotel & Spa.
Bristol Harbour Hotel & Spa includes Jetty Restaurant. The former Lloyds banking hall serves as the hotel’s events space.
The former basement bank vaults are being transformed into a signature Harbour Spa, with treatment rooms, an indoor pool, hydrotherapy pool, steam room and sauna. This is scheduled to open at the start of 2017.
Bristol Harbour Hotel & Spa is located in the heart of Bristol, close to the regenerated waterfront, Cabot Circus shopping centre and Clifton village.

Plans have been submitted to convert the Grade II-listed Llanelli Railway Goods Shed into a cultural hub including an arts centre plus events and office space.
A Trust is planning the repair and restoration of the disused goods shed. Proposed facilities will also include a café and heritage centre. Plans have been submitted to Carmarthenshire County Council.
Llanelli Railway Goods Shed was built between 1875 and 1878 for the use of the South Wales Railway and to capitalise on Llanelli’s importance at the centre of the tinplate industry.
The Trust is currently negotiating with Network Rail to acquire the Llanelli Railway Goods Shed. Lottery Funding and the Railway Heritage Trust have pledged financial support.

Plans have been revealed for a new luxury £1 billion hotel in central London.
If approved the Grade II-listed Old War Office on Whitehall, where Sir Winston Churchill had an office, would be converted into a 125-bedroom hotel.
The hotel would include a ballroom for 600 guests, a 25-metre swimming pool, spa, wine cellars and a roof top bar. The building would also incorporate 88 private apartments.
The Edwardian building, which has more than 1,000 rooms and two and a half miles of corridors, was completed in 1906. It has housed various Secretaries of State for War, including Churchill, Lord Kitchener, David Lloyd-George and John Profumo - but it has never been open to the public.
In recent years the building has starred as the fictional MI6 headquarters in three James Bond movies, Octopussy, A View to a Kill and Licence to Kill. Daniel Craig can be seen gazing over its rooftop cupolas at the end of Skyfall.
Indian and Spanish developers are planning a “world class hotel which will set new standards in luxury.” Details of the hotel’s operators have not yet been released.
