New owners have just relaunched the ‘reimagined’ Grade II-listed Palé Hall on the edge of Snowdonia National Park. Palé Hall Hotel is now an 18 bedroom country house hotel and a member of the Small Luxury Hotels grouping.

Palé Hall Hotel features an exclusive fine dining restaurant headed by Chef Michael Caines.

Each bedroom and suite at Pale Hall has been individually designed highlighting the history of each room and its various guests over the years. Every room enjoys view across the rural Welsh landscape.

There are three dining areas at Palé Hall Hotel providing breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, each with a different look and feel. The largest of them is the grand main dining room, followed by the Venetian themed alternative dining room and the intimate library for private dining.

Michael Caines’ signature menu will focus on the local produce surrounding the hotel.

Palé Hall is one of Wales’s most important surviving homes with a fascinating history dating back to the late 19th century when Henry Robertson, a railway engineer, industrialist and contemporary of Brunel, bought the estate.

Outdoor activities include walking and hiking in the hotel grounds and local hills. During the seasons, Palé Hall Hotel can organise shooting parties in the surrounding estates and arrange trips to local fishing beats on the neighbouring salmon and trout rivers.

Palé Hall Hotel is situated in Llanderfel near Bala in Gwynedd, North Wales. It is just under a two hour drive from Manchester via the M56. The nearest station is in Betws-y-Coed, around 17miles away.
