Refurbishment Round Up

The Golden Fleece Hotel in Thirsk is set to reopen this week following a 12–week, £1million refurbishment. Its doors reopen on 19th May 2017 at 9.00am.

The Golden Fleece is a 26 bedroom hotel and restaurant on Thirsk’s cobbled market place in North Yorkshire.

All the bedrooms at The Golden Fleece have been refurbished and fitted with new bathrooms.

The ground floor and public areas have been redesigned and refurbished with the creation of a new Eatery & Coffee House area plus a new outside dining and decking area complete with a pizza oven.

The Golden Fleece Hotel is part of The Coaching Inn Group, which operates 13 hotels in Yorkshire, Leicester, Lincolnshire, Northampton, Gloucestershire and Wales.

Regent’s Conferences & Events in London has completed its refurbishment of the Tuke Common Room.

The new-look Tuke Common Room now features an Art Deco-style interior finish.

Tuke Common Room will accommodate up to 80 delegates. It is equipped with complimentary wi-fi as well as the latest conference facilities.

Tuke Common Room is one of four internal meeting spaces at Regent’s Conferences & Events.

The others include:
The Tuke Hall Theatre, a fixed seated auditorium with front stage projection seating up to 370 delegates.
Herringham Hall, a conference room accommodating up to 100 delegates
Knapp Gallery, opposite Herringham Hall for smaller meetings or as break-out space.

Jurys Inn Aberdeen Airport has just completed its £3 million refurbishment

All 147 bedrooms at Jurys Inn Aberdeen Airport have undergone a full refurbishment, with each room now featuring DREAM bed by Jurys Inn, an upgraded mattress and new soft furnishings.

Jurys Inn Aberdeen Airport has four meeting rooms accommodate from six to 400 delegates. Each is air conditioning and equipped with a projector and screen. Wi-fi is free throughout the hotel.

Best Western Roker Hotel in Sunderland has completed the final phase of its three-year- long £1million refurbishment.

All 43 bedrooms at the Roker Hotel have been redesigned to combine a contemporary styling with nautical features inspired by the area’s seafaring heritage.

The bedroom stock at the Best Western Roker Hotel include 12 superior rooms all with uninterrupted sea views each featuring a telescope to admire the view.

These rooms are named after the botanicals used to create the range of bespoke gins – including juniper, cinnamon, cassia and rose.

Other features include stacked luggage chests, rope curtain tiebacks and doorknobs and a navy and neutral colour scheme reflecting the hotel’s beachfront position.
