New 30-bedroom luxury hotel is planned near US Embassy in Grosvenor Square in central London. The hotel, with a focus on the arts, is set to be developed by the owner of Blakes Hotel.

The new hotel will be Blakes’ second hotel in London following its site in South Kensington.

The new hotel will include an informal, all-day Parisian-style brasserie restaurant serving a contemporary menu based around locally sourced organic and biodynamic ingredients. Other facilities will include a private members’ club and bar.

If planning is approved, the new hotel will be spread across three buildings at 22 Grosvenor Square, 43 North Audley Street and 1 Lees Place.

The planning application is supported by freeholder Grosvenor, who view the development as part of a wider effort to rejuvenate its holdings across Mayfair as a place to live, work and visit.
